Can I download the audio file?
Yes, when using the OpenRouter AI engine. After generation, a Download MP3 button appears. The browser engine plays audio locally through the Web Speech API which does not expose a downloadable audio stream.
Is my text or API key sent to ToolsVenue servers?
No. In browser mode everything stays on your device. In OpenRouter mode your text goes directly from your browser to OpenRouter's API. ToolsVenue servers are never involved. Your API key is stored only in your browser's localStorage.
Why do I only see a few voices in browser mode?
Available voices depend on your browser and operating system. Chrome on Windows or macOS typically offers 20-40 or more voices. You can install additional language packs in your OS settings to unlock more. Firefox and Safari have more limited selections.
Does it support Arabic and other RTL languages?
Yes. Both engines support Arabic, Urdu, Hebrew, and other RTL languages. For browser mode you need the corresponding language pack installed. The OpenRouter AI engine handles multilingual text natively.
